miscellany: 3 more credits down
Technical Physics is done, or close to it; all assignments have been submitted. The section on heat and optics had some formulas that might be useful for setting up an array of solar cells, so it's not a complete wash.
Thanks for the movie, Xianzhi!

My pleasure. Mind if I post either a copy of our discussion afterwards? I'm thinking about doing a sort of transcript off of the DSS ... I'm finding it helpful for remembering what we cover.
Xianzhi,
No problem at all re: the transcript.
You record us talking on a regular basis, now? Or are you practicing with your super-memory-powers?
Was a bit too tired at the time to fully recall the entire conversation, so a post should help me, too. [grin]
I'd call it a semi-regular basis. I don't think the audio quality (mostly due to surround sound fans) makes a very enjoyable listening experience, but the content is pretty fascinating.
We -really- do loop all over the place, though we pretty consistently hit on topics related to "green" energy sources and computer security.
I spent about 40 minutes trying to listen and type out word for word what we were saying. I ended up with about 8 lines of text and 40 seconds of audio processed. I think initially I am going to have to do a very abbreviated highlights type of "show notes" instead of something as literal as transcripts.
